Registry Update Setting

The Registry UpDate setting determines if edits performed in Registry Tool are also performed in the Windows Registry and the loaded Dat/Hive Binary file. Even with updating "ON", Registry Tool will still prompt, Yes or No, before the edit is performed.

Note - The Professional Edition stores the UNC path of the computer's Registry the Registry Tool Database was created from and edits that Registry. In the Professional Edition, you also have the option to pick which networked registry to edit in case you created a restore profile of specific components.

Note - Searches and other non-editing commands, including the Registry Functions PageFrame commands, are always performed offline of the Windows registry and the loaded Dat/Hive Binary file.
